Petrol in a diesel at midnight. Dan arrived 45 minutes later and had the tank drained/car running within 20 minutes. I am in South Lakes and 50 miles from Dan’s base. Service given is incredible and takes the stress from a scary stranding. I would highly recommend Wrongfuelman to anyone who makes this mistake.

I had absolutely no clue what to do when I accidentally filled my Ford with a full tank of the wrong fuel.

Luckily, it happens that often apparently that the cashier at the garage gave me WrongFuelMans card.

The wrong fuel man I spoke to (sorry I forgot his name) was polite and understanding. He came out to me whilst still stuck on the pump of the BP garage I was at in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

It took him 45 minutes to reach me and approximately 25 minutes for him to sort out the problem. I had no ideal until now what a common mistake it is to put Petrol into Diesel. Surely in this day and age car manufacturers can stop it from happening? Anyways, WrongFuelMan live up to their namesake if you do make the same mistake as me. Thanks for being ready and available when I needed you.

Not a bad job at all done today by WrongFuelMan. I’ll hold my hand up, I have never in 32 years of driving put the wrong fuel in any car I’ve ever driven.

Today, unfortunately was different.

Thankfully one of the other driver’s on rank had used WrongFuelMan before when he did it. The lads from WrongFuelMan clearly know the job inside out because my Skoda Octavia taxi was back in business in just over an hour from giving them the call. A God send when you rely on your motor for work. Top service.

Thanks fellas. Rapid response time to Sainsbury’s in Warrington, Cheshire. Surprisingly quick emptying our Merc Sprinter work van of 90 litres of Petrol too! Won’t be doing that again, believe me! Costly mistake to make but WrongFuelMan quoted me half of what my Breakdown cover were charging so it was a no brainer.

Turned up when they said they would, drained my Audi fuel tank and flushed my filter/engine with clean Diesel. I only used WrongFuelMan because they quoted me the cheapest out of the 3 similar companies that I Googled. Can’t fault the service though or the price.

Good company, sound service, fair price.

Trust me I don’t ever plan on filling my company Mercedes with the wrong fuel again. Mind you I didn’t plan to this time either!

I would however, definitely use WrongFuelMan again if I did. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Last Friday evening I stupidly made the mistake of putting Petrol into my Diesel VW Touran after a busy day driving a petrol courtesy car earlier at work. (Well, that’s my excuse anyways!) As soon as I realized I rang my AA breakdown straightaway, only to be told that I’m not covered for a misfuel and would be charged £280!

Thank God a passer-by near the fuel station at Preston, Lancashire recommended WrongFuelMan.

After a quick call, Dan arrived in his van around 25 minutes later. Explained the process to me as he worked and had my tank empty and car up and running in no more than half an hour!
